Request Create
Call/Mode: request_create
Description: Create a New Request
Parameters: class, customer, assign, update, status, priority
Returned Data: XML request ID or error

This article details a FreeDESK API call.

Description

This call will create a new request

Using the Call

Pass in the following parameters using GET or POST

  • class : Request Class (blank will use default)
  • customer : Customer ID
  • assign : Composite assignment string in the form TEAMID/USERNAME (or just TEAMID) for assignment
  • update : Textual Update
  • status : Status Code
  • priority : Priority Code

For example

api.php?mode=request_create&class=1&customer=1&assign=0&update=A+Request&status=1&priority=1

Returned Data

XML containing either a request ID (see below) or a FreeDESK error on failure.

Format of created request response:

<request>ID</request>
